What's Happening at Sugarloaf UMC 12/27/10

I hope your Christmas observance was everything you hoped it would be…and more!
There aren’t many activities at the church this week, but I wanted to encourage you
to remember the church and its mission as you close out 2010.

Are you grateful for the blessings of God in your life? If so, please remember to support
the church with His tithe and your offerings. At the time of this message, we don’t know
the results of our special Christmas Eve offering for “From Hunger to Hope” but I want
to thank everyone who shared in this important challenge. Imagine the joy we will feel
when we gather to package and ship 100,000 meals to children in need! To find out more,
check out the Beyond the Walls page on the website.

Just a reminder, I have recently started a weekly blog called “Just Checking In.” I hope
you will log onto the site regularly so we can stay in touch. You can access the blog by

Happy New Year!

During the 4-weeks you will get an opportunity to meet the SUMC pastors, meet other families, meet small group (Bible Studies, Grow Group and Sunday morning classes) facilitators and hear about current opportunities to “grow” in your faith, and hear about serving opportunities around the campus and around the world. A light breakfast buffet is served and everyone is welcome.
