What's Happening at Sugarloaf UMC - 11/22/10

I know you are probably gearing up for another great Thanksgiving with family and friends. I hope you have a wonderful holiday! If you're in town, I'd love to see you in worship this Sunday. One of the things I am most thankful for is you and the great church family I have in Sugarloaf UMC! Have a great week!

Stuart Greene, Senior Pastor

The SUMC Offices will be closed Wednesday - Friday of this week in observance of the Thanksgiving Holidays.

Beyond the Walls Ministry Information:

Season of Compassion Christmas is in full swing! We need you, your family or small group to take as many ornaments off of the trees as possible. These toys, gifts, clothing and household items will be given to the over 50 families we are supporting this Christmas season. Purchase the item on the ornament, wrap it, loosely attach the ornament to the gift and return it to the trees no later than Sunday, December 12th. Didn’t get an ornament? You can still help by purchasing a $25 grocery or Wal-Mart gift card that we will give the families to allow them to buy perishables and holiday gifts for their own children and family. You can purchase these on your own or at our table in the lobby this Sunday. Please contact lucyfaxon@bellsouth.net or betsysachais@hotmail.com for any questions.

Happy Thanksgiving!

May your turkey plump,

And may your

Stay off your thighs!
