Season of Compassion Update:
We are almost there! Please take one of the 30 remaining ornaments off the trees by the end of the week. We need all items purchased and returned no later than Sunday, December 12. Didn’t get an ornament? You can still help by purchasing a $25 grocery or Wal-Mart gift card that we will give the families to allow them to buy perishables and holiday gifts for their own children and family. You can purchase these on your own or at our table in the lobby this Sunday. Please contact lucyfaxon@bellsouth.net or betsysachais@hotmail.com for any questions.

How are you doing? I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are now looking forward to the Christmas season. We only have 3 weeks left before the Christmas break and still have a lot of 2010 details left before we move in to 2011! Here’s what you need to know:
We are still in the middle of processing all of the mission trip applications and deposits. Thanks to all of you who turned those in on time. If the Thanksgiving break snuck up on you and you haven’t turned those in yet, please get those in as soon as possible this week. We are currently maxed out for the Chicago, Tijuana, Costa Rica, and South Africa mission trips. We have 1 spot each for the Mobile and Czech Republic mission trips and have plenty of space available for the Nashville and New Orleans mission trips. We should know more this week regarding those currently on the waiting list for the Chicago mission trip (if you are on the waiting list I will let you know later this week if your student is in for sure or not). Please also don’t forget that if you are applying for the church-provided scholarship, I need a scholarship application turned in as soon as possible. If you don’t have one, you can download it from the church website.
Sugarloaf Kids Information:
